Our Helper

In this life, we will experience stress. Stress can come in multiple forms including: school, grades, finances, relationships, etc. How do we cope with stress? We freak out first, right?! Then we focus on the situation and what we must do to change it. A lot of times, people let the stress get to them. To where it is the only thing they can think about, and it eats at them. If we let stress dictate our lives and emotions, we will not be able to live as Christ wants us to. The Lord is there for everything, and He even asks us to tell Him our problems and stressors. He carries our burden with us, and helps His children through the situation. We stress about so much that we should not stress about, because the Lord has a plan and prepares us and gives us what we need as we need it. The song Sparrows by Jason Gray, is a calming song about how the Lord takes care of the birds of the air. If He can do that, then there is no doubt He can take care of His children.

28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.[a] 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” – Matthew 10:28-30

Matthew 6:25 (NIV): “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?” – Matthew 6:25

“4 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” – James 4:14

2 “Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless!  Everything is meaningless.” – Ecclesiastes 1:2
