Fall: Learning to Embrace Seasons Of Change

I know that this season is one of my favorites! Autumn is when the leaves are changing colors, the air changes temperatures, and I have to change my wardrobe to thick sweaters!

In my mind: fall = change.

That used to scare me. I wasn’t a fan of anything differing from what I was comfortable in. I had a safe zone and I didn’t want it tapped into.

Friend, God created us to change. To grow. To learn and adapt to new environments. I want to encourage you today, embrace the coming season of change! Whether it’s in your job, school, friend groups, church communities, etc. In order to grow further in your relationship with God, you have to be willing to step out of that comfort zone. .God is calling you to keep climbing; going from glory to glory!

One of my favorite verses, Joshua 1:9, says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do to be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Friends, I pray you remember this verse through this season and encourage you to not shy away from new things. God is always the same no matter what changes occur in your time on Earth. In that, take comfort.
