God Calls Us to Trust Him in Every Season
God called Abraham to trust Him as He led him up the mountain to sacrifice his only son, Isaac—the son Abraham had prayed and waited for many years to receive. Yet even on that mountain, God was with Abraham and Isaac.
God called Moses to trust Him when He commanded him to rescue the Israelites from captivity in Egypt. Moses could not see every detail of God’s plan, but God went with him.
God called Job to trust Him as he walked through unimaginable suffering, loss, and grief. And God was with him.
God called Mary to trust Him when she was an unmarried young woman chosen to become the earthly mother of the Light of the World. And God was with her.
Jesus Teaches Us to Trust God With Our Daily Needs
Jesus called His disciples to trust Him—to provide their daily bread, multiply the loaves and fish, heal the sick, and ultimately rise from the dead.
They learned that Jesus was not only powerful enough to meet their needs, but faithful enough to stay with them through every circumstance.
He secured their future, promised His presence, and gave them hope beyond what they could see.

Trusting God in the Valleys of Life
God does not only call us to trust Him when life feels joyful and clear, when we are standing on the mountaintops of life.
He calls us to trust Him in the valleys.
He calls us to trust Him when seasons feel frightening, blurry, or impossible to understand.
And the beautiful promise throughout Scripture is this:
He is with us.
Even now, He is behind us, beside us, and before us.
For every believer, He lives within us through the Holy Spirit. He is working in our lives and in the world around us. His plans cannot be disrupted.
He is always interceding for us, working all things together for our good, making us more like Christ, spreading the gospel, and accomplishing His purposes to redeem and gather His people to Himself.
God Still Grows Flowers in the Valleys
The light still shines into the valleys.
And He still grows flowers there.
Because He is a good gardener who is just as present with us in the valleys as He is on the mountains.
The same God who meets us in seasons of joy is the God who holds us through seasons of sorrow.
One Day We Will See Him Face to Face
One day, we will stand face to face with the Lord—the true Light.
And there will be no more blurry seasons.
No more fear.
No more grief.
No more valleys.
Until that day, we can trust Him because He is faithful, and He is with us.
